    Toshiba Tecra 8000 help!!! Please, I'm new.

    Hi, I have this sort of old laptop, a Toshiba Tecra 8000, and i really want to run linux off it. Does anyone know of any linux running off this type of a laptop?!? I'm not sure exactly how to go about finding a distributer that would be even close to working. Please, someone out there, can you help me with my problem. Feel free to post questions or email me about my problem if you have any questions. Thank you for your time.

    any lightweight distro will work fine on that machine. check this POLL.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
