    Live CD+GmailFS

Ive had a search around but I cant see any body doing this.

Using a Live CD has several drawbacks.

1)You cant save config data, and if you can it only on the local machine.
2)You cant run it "clean" and save config data.
3)Its not secure(since it has nowhere it can gurenteed passwords to be stored)

most live CD will give you network access out of the box (from what I have seen) Combine that with the Gmail FS project to produce a live CD you can take ANYWHERE and take your config file with you.
at login simply enter your Gmal account and password and your config files will be downloaded.

    What does every body think?
Note CD being the word, a lot of old machine wont boot from usb, or even have usb.

PUD GNU/Linux already has such a feature (GmailFS). Since version 4.6.3 (released in last August).

Never tried it personally, but it does look quite nice.
