I'm sorry. I can't help. But it has been a long time since I laughed so hard at a post on these forums.

I hope you get this fixed.Registered Linux user #388328 || Registered LFS user #15880

Same here. I almost thought it was a joke.
I would assume it has something to do with your xorg.conf, not with menu.lst. Try googling your hardware information along with the keyword 'xorg.conf' and see if there are any drastic differences between some sample xorg.conf's and your own.

ROFL
That is one cool problem you have there, but I can see how it could get annoying. Isn't there a way to slow down the repeat on the keyboard input? There is in KDE, there'll be one in Gnome.

You can edit the settings for your keyboard.
There should be an option for repeat speed or something like that.
It might be because your repeat delay is too low. Like .1 seconds or something.
I also do recall seeing an option for typing speed.
And the same with the mouse. Your movement speed is too high. Lower it.

I have seen it before on KDE but I've been using Gnome for several months now: "System >> Preferences >> Keyboard" Then you can set whether key repeats when it's held down and also the delay+speed of it.
