Newbie to Linux

I was looking to get linux for a while but i still can't decide which distro to get.
I have a list I been thinking of, which would you use?

1. PCLinuxOS 2007
2. Fedora 7
3. openSuSE 10.2
4. ubuntu 7.04
5. kubuntu 7.04
6. xubuntu 7.04
7. Freespire 1.0

I also plan on Dual Booting, dont think that will make a difference anyway.

I'm afraid no one can help you with that, as people have very different opinions on which distro is "best". My advice would be to try a few different ones (especially the liveCD's that let you try without installing), and see which one you prefer.

Welcome to the forum. As smolloy said, we can't really tell you which to choose any more than we can tell you which flavor of ice cream will be your favorite. It's a very subjective thing. For some good introductory information, take a look at this thread:
