    small network

    I have an old pc (p2, cpu 233 mhz,ram=32,hdd=3.1) I want to make a small network for practice by connecting this old pc to my new one,before that I need to install an operating system,Is there any linux OS that I can install on this old pc? Where I can download it?

    I think it would help if you read this thread before you progress, it covers some pretty good info for new users, including help on which distro to use.

    If you have specific questions about something that isn't working right, then we'll gladly help, but 'recommend a disto' questions can quickly degenerate into a distro war...

    And I cant tell you which distro you'd prefer anyway - only you can make that choice. It's probably best to try some out - you'll have a better idea of what you want after having some exposure to them.
