Question about i386 and i686
Hello, I am currently looking to get a few linux distros and I have a quick question with i386 and i686. I know i386 is for 32 bit computers right? I dont know if i686 will work for me but some of the cds i am trying to order only come in i686 should I order them or they wouldn't work for me. Are they for 64bits?
Thank you

Yes, either will work, but you should always go for the i686 when you can get it.
