How do I run Secret Rabbit Code (libsamplerate)

I installed a package called libsamplerate, or Secret Rabbit code, from the package manager in Mandriva 2007, a program used to change an audio file's sample rate, but don't know how to run it. I tried issuing the commands "src", "libsamplerate", "secret_rabbit_code", and everything. After that, I tried looking for it in /usr/bin, but nothing. Does anyone know how to run this program? Or, does anyone have a recommendation for an alternative program?

Have you checked the appropriate places in the K menu? A lot of package managers install shortcuts there for you.

If you're really stuck, you could try using locate to find it,
    Code:
    updatedb
    locate libsamplerate
(updatedb needs to be run as root.)

Nvm, I've got it worked out, I found out that Ardour changes the sample rate with it automatically when importing a track... The reason I wanted to change the sample rate was because when I import a track into ardour, it skips horribly, like if you were to smack a cd player repeatedly with a 2x4 while trying to listen to it. I thought that since the sample rate ardour was using, 48000, was different than the track I was importing, 44100, it was causing it to skip. Now that I've successfully converted the track's sr to 48000 using audacity and it still skips, I realize that's not the case. I don't know if it has anything to do with that Jack thing or not, because I can play the same track in audacity perfectly fine, so I think it's jack... Is there any way to get rid of jack and use a different output method or maybe fix jack?
