    Network Card not detected

    What are some beginner friendly distros that can run on 96mb of ram and a 155mhz processor and support a network card? I found an old laptop and i want to put linux on it, i already have dsl on it but i am having network card problems with it.

    What is the brand and type of your laptop?
    Can you use external "USB to Ethernet" adapter or "PCMCIA/PC Card to Ethernet" adapter?

    Perhaps you can post this question on network section of this forum.
