Error 22
Hi! I could definitely be classified as a newbie, although I have had Gentoo on my box for almost two years. I have not been able to put much time into it and would like to upgrade, being that I cannot get any of the apps to work in Gentoo. So, I googled the question: delete partition two, and came up with the answer that some of the guys at my work suggested. I deleted the partitions that I did not want anymore. What appears on my screen as I restart?:
GRUB loading, please wait...
Error 22
Now what? (yes, I googled that, too)
I have an eMachines...windows xp professional, 120GB hardrive 256MB Ram, 1.0GHz processor. Please help me!

Hi and Welcome !
boot up from any LiveCD, mount /boot partition of Gentoo and post the contents of /etc/fstab file. post the output of 'fdisk -l' command too.It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
