Installing ATI proprietary package errors
hallo, i dont know if this is really a newbie question. However I didn't want to be flamed for posting it anywhere else, anyway...
I installed redhat 8 because it was laying around my house and I've learned alot so far because my GUI died for awhile and i had a learning curve whilst trying to bring it back to life. But i had realized once i got it back running, that my video driver is not right and it would definatly help if i got the latest one. so i go to the site and DL the .run file ati-driver-installer-8.38.6-x86.x86_64.run
when i tried to install it this is what came up, and im seriously puzzled at what to do- i've read every where, and i know a window with the penguin is supposed to pop up so i can install the driver, but it never does- i dont know what to do =(
heres the stuff
[root@localhost randomshit]# sh ati-driver-installer-8.38.6-x86.x86_64.run
Created directory fglrx-install.ZIuB0M
Verifying archive integrity... All good.
