Which distro best suits...
I'm absolutely a newbie to linux.....
I want to learn nook and corner in linux.
I got a few distros from distrowatch but can't decide on which to go for.SO pl. tell me which among the below suits me the best. Also i love my linux to be more or less like windows as i'm used to it.
The distros are:
1.Kubuntu/Edubuntu/Ubuntu
2.Dream linux
3.Gentoo
4.Debian
5.Sabayon
Does gentoo now comes with a gui installer which is user friendly?

As much as nobody can tell you which distro is really suited for you, (k)ubuntu is pretty much the undisputed best distro to start learning on.
If your looking for something that looks like windows, pick kubuntu over ubuntu. The GUI is pretty much the only difference between the two. ubuntu uses gnome (which is simpler IMHO) whereas kubuntu uses KDE (which looks pretty much identical to the windows GUI)Living the digital dream....
