Exclamation samba 3.0.12-5 conflict in yaST

i had just installed suse 9.3 linux last night. every thing was running fine and i tryed to install a driver for a linksys usb wireless eathernet card. i had found the source code online and everything worked fine up till i had to install the dependiences. i thouhg i had finished everythign correctly. then i got to open yaST to check what packeges are avable and i get a samba 3.0.12-5 conflict. and it wants me to downgrade fromn samba 3.0.13-1.6 to samba 3.0.12-5 i clicked the downgrade. but still every time i open yaST i get the conflict. im not sure if my trying to install driver for my linksys card. or jsut from something else.
please let me know if anyone has anyideas.
ps i have suse installed on an old panasonic toughbook CF-27. if that has anythign to do with it

A simple way to get rid of the problem would be to simply uninstall samba. Are you accessing any Windows resources from your computer (other than any lcoal ones if you are dual-booting)?

Open Yast and select Software Management. From here, search Samba and uncheck it. Click Accept.

If you don't need to interact with the other Windows machines (ie. you don't need to set up a file server or provide services to your Windows boxes), you can remove it.
