How to make Windows recognize Linux machine on network

    Hi everyone,
This is my first post. A few months ago I decided to take the dip into the Linux world. I cant believe how clean and easy to use it is! Anyways my question is...

Right now I have a small network going in my home office. One machine running WinXP, the other Ubuntu. The Ubuntu machine also has my printer connected to it that I wish to share with the WinXP machine. The two computers are networked with a Linksys router. Im not sure how to get my WinXP machine to share the printer, or files/folders from the Ubuntu machine. Any help is appreciated!!

You should do some reading on Samba. I haven't used it before but it was created for this exact purpose and has been used by Linux Users for many, many years.
