how can i get back to my original resolution
i changed my resolution to 1600x1200.i think my monitor is not supporting this resolution setting. then onwords, when i start system it is displying up to "red hat version is staarting" and then a black screen is displaying. nothing can be visible. i dont know what is going on.
i m new to linux. i m using fedora6. pls help me how can i fix this problem without reinstalltion.

in GRUB screen, select Fedora title and press 'e'. select 'kernel' line, press 'e' again and add <space> 3 at the end of line. press 'Enter' key and press 'b' to boot up. this will drop you on command line login prompt. log in as root and execute this
configure display and resolutions again.Code:system-config-display
reboot.It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
