    Hi and Welcome !

    I am not getting your question. There is no such thing in Unix. Unlike Windows, Nothing is installed Automatically.
    Could explain a little bit more?
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

    Ahhhhhhhh!!

    I thought automatic updates/installs where possible in in a Unix like OS.

    There are Update Managers which Notify available Updates. Update Managers do not install updates automatically.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
