    Which linux OS (Ubuntu/Suse) is best for ICS & networking ?

    I have decided to shift from windows to linux, i would like to know which linux OS among Ubuntu and Suse is best for local networking and ICS ? which OS will give me more options in local network management ?? thanks .

    Welcome to the forums, quarks!

    Either should work fine, and they are both very popular among new Linux users, Ubuntu probably being the most popular at the current time.

    I'd recommend taking a look at the live cd for each distro to help with making up your mind. You can install Ubuntu to the hard drive from the live cd, but I'm not sure about the Suse live cd.
