bootloader problem...
I've had Kubuntu 7.04 installed on hda1 for about a month. It's been installed on it's own drive, and I've been running my drives through a discrete switching controller.
Sunday I tried to install Sabayon 3.3 on a newly purchased drive. There was an issue with the controller not showing the whole drive. So... out comes the switching controller, and hda1 (Kubuntu) and hdb1 (the new Sabayon install) are cabled straight to the mobo ide controller. The 3rd drive (winxp) is out of the equation for now.
My problem is that Sabayon has installed a second instance of GRUB on hdb1 and set that drive as boot.
I would like to set hda1 back as the boot drive and be able to boot both os'es from GRUB on hda1.
(I can see menu.lst in /boot/ on both drives.)
Also, I'm considering wiping Sabayon from hdb1 in a week or so and installing PC-BSD. Any caveats I should be aware of before I do this? THX.

(I can see menu.lst in /boot/ on both drives.)It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
