Old machine
I have a machine that had windows 98 on it and I want to replace it with Linux. It has a 500 mhz processor and 128 mb of ram. I couldn't get Xubuntu to work and I don't want to use dsl.

If you don't want to use dsl then try slax or vector might be what your looking
for. For information on most any of the distros check DistroWatch.com: Put the fun back into computing. Use Linux, BSD.

ans also i recommend you ArchLinux with Fluxbox, it is simple and fast
