Can anyone tell me if there is very small linux that can fit in a floppy. So that i can boot from the floppy completely as i do using a MSDOS-boot floppy.
I think that the bootfloppy created using syslinux depends on the kernel present in our harddisk. It doesn't boot from the floppy entirely.
if you go to www.slackware.com they have a zip slack that fits on a 100 meg zip disk also any distribution that you get should come with a way to make boot floppies that boot off of the floppy to install the distribution i know slackware does
