Unhappy Linux without stdio, configuring samba

Hi to all,
I have a linux on my WD mybook, and it seems like it doesn't have the stdio lib.

I'm trying to install samba but after the compilation and the installation, when everything goes ok, when I run the smbd I get - smbd: can't resolve symbol 'stderr'.

I've tried removing the line "HAVE_STDIO_H 1" on the config.h before compiling but still the same error.

Could someone explain to me how do i get rid of this error?

Thanks in advance,
Asaf.
