PCLinuxOS and Abiword

After years of using Mandriva I've just moved to PCLinuxOS 2009.
Not too different you may say...

Only Abiword crashes at the touch of a single key.

(everything else works fine, wireless, bluetooth...)

Hi engless
Have you tried to Remove and then Re-Install only the application Abiword. I read at least one excellent review of PCLinuxOS 2009.1 and they had no problems whatsoever with Abiword. PCLinuxOS 2009.1 - A lovely distro . Just out on interest does Abiword even open or does it crash when to try to open it?
Good luck...

Sorry I was not sure. As root run #dmesg | grep abiword
See if it provides any clues to your crashing program.
