kanotix partion help

i'm new to kanotix and when i install i set up the partions 256mb for swap, 2.5gb for root, and the rest for the /home dir but when i begin installation it keeps saying not enough memory for swap, i've been trying different partion sizes but nothing seems to works
can anyone help please!

How much RAM do you have? How much disk space? Please give more details about your hardware.

128 mb of RAM may be a little short for kanotix. Maybe you want to try zenwalk, damn small linux, etc. Something a little smaller.
