Having problems with graphics.
I have downloaded sevral versions of fedora and ubuntu (until I got fed up with it and went and bought Xandros) and attempted to install them to coexist with my current OS. I have tried to boot from cd, install, and use the microsoft virtual machine. Nothing works... everything goes fine until i get to the setup part with the next window things. I cant see whats going on! it is just a black screen with some wide spaced dots that i know are words and icons but i cant read them. My friend thought it might be my graphics card... but i dont think that would be a problem.
Can anyone help me? I would be very grateful.

Hi and Welcome !
It looks like Graphics Card problem only. Which Graphics Card to you have? Most of installers does not configure ATI and Nvidia Cards properly. If you have one of those, try to install Linux in Text Mode.It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
