Backtrack2 ..MAC address anomaly
I have a Netgear WPN311 pci wireless card (atheros based chip) with madwifi drivers. When I checked it on windows, it shows a MAC address of 00:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX.
However, when i boot up the bootable backtrack2 distro and do a 'iwconfig' it shows a MAC address of 06:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX.
How can this be??
