    Where can i download Linux distros from?


    Hi,

    Where can i download all the Linux distros from? I tried burning FC in Nero with Vista and disk 1 would not boot from the CD so i try downloading it from some where else that is not the main page.

    Well, Download the Image form there webpage.
    Check the MD5 CheckSum.
    Then Burn it with a good Burn Prog(I always fight with nero so lets say you use a great free imgburn)
    Burn to a CD.
    And it should boot.
    If it doenst, check the BIOS for your Boot Options.

    Always be careful not to create boot cd. Just burn the image to the cd. Also try burning at low speeds.

    Check distrowatch.com. It has download links of almost all distros. As already suggested by valemon, you should burn .iso image as Image only. There is an option in Nero' Menu, 'Burn Image to Disk'. Select that option only.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
