No built-in mouse with laptop on Damn Small Linux, only usb!
The title says it all, I can only use a usb mouse on my laptop, the built-in one won't work. This is DSL installed via frugal install with grub. It boots to the desktop, the mouse cursor is there, and if I touch the laptop touchpad, it may or may not move, but either way it will disappear in a minute. Just for fun, I chose both options for ps2/usb mouse while booting dsl, it didn't make a difference.
The hardware works fine, no problem if I boot into ubuntu from a livecd.
Any help appreciated, please keep in mind im a linux noob.
