My sound is very low cannot make it higher
I have looked at my sound volumes and still cannot get it higher.It is a newer machine for me and it has a AC97 sound card and surround sound but i have just 2 speakers

Which Linux Distro do you have and which Desktop Environment are you using?It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

My desktop is PC linux with KDE
I have the new PC linux and KDE it runs great but no sound clifty

Execute 'kmix' in Terminal and try to move sliders up.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
