how to load windows XP on linpus linux
Hi, I got a new laptop which came with Linpus Linux version 9 installed in it. Now i want to load windows XP in it but i dont know how to do it. I have tried rebooting it with winxp installation CD but it goes to command prompt "DR - DOS A:\" or something similar. I dont know how to proceed after that. Can someone please help me asap???

ok well i think the problem is that yout system doesnt know ow to boot up from the cd so
try these several commands
after "DR - DOS A:\" or whatever it says
try
Boot
Boot Cd
boot DVD
Run CD
Run boot.ini
Its different for Pc's So i dont know how top hlep, i know whith my dell its Boot
But for my Pc i built its Run

You just reboot, and when you get to the prompt, type in the following commands:
cd D:\ (or whatever your CD Drive is....)
setup.exe (that's usually what the setup file is named.)
if that isn't, you can just type "D:\dir /p"
