    Linux Newbie Learning Quickly

I am reading Teach Yourself Linux....which has been quite helpful but it does not go into how to add a user on the CLI side.....I have been doing GOOGLE searches and am just not getting anywhere. I would appreciate any and all help. I am using CentOS 5. Thanks in advance for any help.

    Welcome to the forums, mdhood!

Try the adduser, or useradd command. Of course, you'll need to su to root to add users.

Also, check out LinuxCommand.org for more on command line operations under Linux.
