well i hav a mtnl broadband connection...in the othr linux distros my internet used to run automatically without me putting the ip add etc...but in kubuntu i had to manually ...

    internt not runnin properly on kubuntu



    well i hav a mtnl broadband connection...in the othr linux distros my internet used to run automatically without me putting the ip add etc...but in kubuntu i had to manually configure the details.....

    now the prob is if my modem is on and thn i restart my pc and enter into kubuntu only thn my internet works....if i restrt my modem my connection doesnt gets connected again.....

    Which type of modem do you have? How do you dial it up? PPPD or WVDIAL?
