So I wanted to put together a digital picture frame using DSL. I got myself an old IBM 770ED Laptop and started to follow this guide.

Problem is that when I get to this step:

# sudo mount /dev/hda1
# sudo mount /dev/hda1 -o remount,rw
# cd /mnt/hda1
# sudo nano /boot/grub/menu.lst

It will not let me save after editing menu.lst, nano errors out and it tells me it is a read only drive. This guide was put together using an older version of DSL but I am using 4.2.5, can anyone help me out?
