Ps3 Os Wont Reboot

Ok i am having problems with yellow dog on ps3. as i have never used linux before i am at a dead end. i have partitiond 10gb and installed yellow dog 5.0 with no problems but when i go too boot the ps3 os it gives the message?
(ENLIGHTMENT WAS UNABLE TO RUN THE APPLICATION: BOOT-GAME-OS THE APPLICATION HAS FAILED TO START) so if anybody knows a solution please answer a.s.a.p thanks.

Thanks but still no joy but i think i have formated the whole hard drive is their anyway too recover.the ps3 os.

would you know how to check partitions on linux.

What do you mean? To check the filesystem? For example you can check like this:

fsck -y -f /dev/sdb1

where /dev/sdb1 is your hard drive! I don`t know exacly what do you want to do!

I need to check if i have deleted the ps3 os partition

fdisk -l

It looks like i have messed up big time how do you re installe linux please.

I`m not sure how to install linux on PS3 but i found this. Try to reinstall like the first time! and then we can see what we can do!
