    Yopers Performance


    One site (might have been linuxworld) did a speed test of virtualy every distro avilable, yoper came out on top, even beating the glorious and infamous gentoo (a by-the-book handbook install of it). The consesus was, if you want a fast as anything desktop, that is for a more 'adverage' user, yoper is it.

    (been meaning to try it myself, but I might use too many server features to be comfortable.)

    There is an effort to add more server packages to the repositories
