    Boy if I had exe. files that would open without using Terminal, now that would be something.

    you can open .exe files using terminal? didn't know you could run them at all in Linux (don't know much about it)

    No, you can't run .exe files in the terminal or konsole, but you can use Wine/Cedega/DosBox to run *some* .exe files on Linux.
