    I don't know anything about the specifications on the computers you mentioned above, but you can check the following link for favorite distro for older/weaker computer hardware:

    You might be able to check the website of each distro mentioned in the poll for their system requirements to see if they match your hardware.

    I think that most AS/400 systems ran on an IBM based PowerPC processor.

    You should be able to find some references on that.
