Need help with Mp3 plugins PLZ!

Hi Guys

i need help please, i have tried as much as i can from other forums and i cannot for the life of me get a damn mp3 plugin going for my Rhrythmbox, i have tried the following:

1. yum install gstreamer-plugins-ugly

And various other things but always get to the same conclusion bellow:

http://dl.atrpms.net/f9-i386/atrpms/...rimary.xml.gz: [Errno -1] Metadata file does not match checksum
Trying other mirror.
Error: failure: repodata/primary.xml.gz from atrpms: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try.


Thanks in Advance for any help with this matter

PS: Only been using Fedora 9 for a week now

Hi and Welcome !

Install VLC Player. It will install all necessary codecs.

yum -y install vlc

Hey thanks for the help! but, i cant seem to install anything since this morning, every time i try to install anything i get the following message below, any suggestions perhaps?

Execute this

su -
yum clean all
rpm -Uhv http://rpm.livna.org/livna-release-9.rpm
rpm --import http://rpm.livna.org/RPM-LIVNA-GPG-KEY
yum -y install vlc

Above code will install Livna Repository and VLC Player.
Have you tried Yum Extender? Its Graphical interface of yum.

yum -y install yumex

You can easily install/remove/update packages with it.

Yeah thanks, just installed yumex , thanks again for the help man, will let you know if i get this right, forgive me for i am still a n00b
