ZevenOS
I was just on DistroWatch and saw an announcement for this recent addition to the hundreds of distros called ZevenOS. What caught my eye about it is that they are going for the look, feel and speed of the old BeOS which I liked very much when it came out. The website and included screenshots certainly seem to have a BeOS look and feel so I think this is one I may just check out. It's Ubuntu based (of course) so that's a plus for it right there. I loved the old BeOS! It was easy to work with, innovative and extremely fast. Here's to hoping they've managed to capture some of Be's attributes in the new ZevenOS!

I only briefly played around with BeOS, but it was definitely a unique experience. I'm downloading 1.0 right now.

I payed with it a while back. I did a pittiful small review at Linux Questions. Nothing of Techie Moes caliber though.LinuxQuestions.org Reviews - Beta 5

I'm downloading it right now to see how it works. The German is not real much of a problem since I've had it for 2 years at school and my mum is almost a native speaker. I'm trying to get to know as many Linux distro's as possible. Zeven is Dutch for 7 by the way.
