    DSL Box login?

I extremely new to linux, but I managed to install it on a partition with windows on the other.

After it installs it asks me for a root password, then a DSL password. After writing them down, it then prompts me for a Box Login and Password, yet I've never set this.

I've tried several combinations of the aforementioned passwords, but I still cannot get in.

This is an old system and I am not worried about losing data, so I can start from scratch again, if I have to.

Thanks for any help you can shed on this subject.

Box login is just a prompt for your username. Type in dsl and press enter. It then will ask for the password you created for the user dsl. Type it in and press enter. The box is the hostname of your computer.
