Is there a special way to install Gnome? I downloaded all of the packages from the package download manager and installed them, and when I went to login with Gnome it gave me some error (I forget which error, it was a day or so ago) is there something else I should do?

I don't know remember what it was. I'm reinstalling Yoper so if I get it again I'll post it.

I installed gnome from reposity yesterday by ygnome and then to log in gnome
you have to do as root :rm -rf /tmp/* and then log in.This works but i have to do it every time i boot in so try it
