Installing VirtualBox
I am interested in running Windows XP on my Xandros machine, but the .run file for VirtualBox said:
Please install the build and header files for your current Linux kernel.
The current kernel version is 2.6.11-smp
Problems were found which would prevent VirtualBox from installing.
Please correct these problems and try again.
What does that mean? Can I fix this? I am running Xandros Business Edition 3. Please give a very thorough explanation since I am new to Linux and don't understand code very well.

You need compilers and you kernel source file. I'm not familiar with Xandros, but in Debian/Ubuntu it's the package called "build-essentials".
This is needed because VirtualBox need to compile few module to talk with your kernel.

It look like Xandros is a Debian based distro, so an "apt-get install build-essentials" should do the job.
