How to install DSL Linux on a Desktop PC
I really would like to install DSL Linux on to a four year old computer which has 512memory and an 160GB hard drive. Trouble is i am without doubt a Linux n00b and haven't a clue how to format or partition an hard drive.

If you don't feel comfortable creating partitions from the command line, you can use the Parted Magic LiveCD to make it easier for you. It runs directly from the liveCD and is about as easy as it gets when it comes to partitioning chores.
