Using a CD to boot up from a flash drive?
Hi guys, i'm back with yet another complicated question. I have a computer at work that does support USB booting, but currently the bios is set to not allow it. My problem is that i'd like to boot up ubuntu off my flash drive, but obviously this won't work.. So my question is: is there any way to boot a bootloader off a cd, and have it read the OS's off the flash drive and then make it boot off the flash? like using the cd to jump the flash drive into booting. And I know I can just use the ubuntu cd and boot off of that, but I want to install packages and have them be persistant instead of doing it everytime. I can boot off HDD and CD only on this bios setup right now...
