How is Yoper? Looking to Change

I have started to notice Yoper and was wondering what, in the most general way, it was like. I started off with FC2, however, that gave me an extremely slow internet connect, it just sucked up too much memory. I am now using a version of Slackware, SLAX, on my comp, but this was made to be a live cd and I am looking for something a little more permanent. I was just wondering if you guys think that Yoper would work sufficiently well on my labtop. I'm not looking for much, just stability, versatility, and something that is pretty fast with the net. I have a cable connection but it was as slow as an old 28.8 on fcs

The comp is an old Dell labtop
    P2 333
    192 mb ram

Thank you guys for your time in answering this

personally i have some problems with yoper but once you get working it was worth the frustration. Its fast and super easy to use. Also very stable. I have an older computer and it works ok.
