    cent OS dedicated server help


    i'm a newbie & i want to learn the basics & i dont need an admin to maintain my server..as its my server & my privacy to use it

    i need help to download utorrent ,GUI interface,webserver ,realvnc to my server & install it in it

    only i get is shell prompt no GUI interface

    Since this is a server, do you really want to have a GUI taking up valuable resources? uTorrent is a windows/mac app, you can't use it natively on linux, you should look into alternatives for that. I would go to the centos website and look at the getting started docs. You can install all the software you listed with yum command (except for the fact that you need to install another torrent client, such as transmission which can be configured to run on a web interface).
