Recovering RAID 1
Hi all,
I recently had to remove a hard drive to make room for a new video card. Upon putting the hard drive back in and rebooting into CentOS (v5.3 64-bit), I get the error:
fsck.ext3: Device or resource busy while trying to open /dev/sda5
****An error occured during the filesystem check.
****Dropping you to a shell; the system will reboot
****when you leave the shell.
Give root password for maintenance
sda5 is my linux partition, where sda1 is the vista side. I was able to boot into Vista and use Dell's matrix software to restore the raid array. However, upon booting into CentOS I get that error.
I tried running fsck on dev/sda5 but it returns a message saying that it is already in use by another program (which isn't possible, as far as I know). I should also mention that this is a software raid.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerly,
Jason
