Which Distro for Wine?
I have been able to take some old computers, throw some pieces together, and make a nice working machine. The purpose i have in mind for this machine is to install Halo 1 PC on it so i can add it to the group i have to host LAN parties.
My issue is what the best OS is to do this with is?
What i want from my Distribution is this:
Great ability to run Wine (Windows Capability Layer)
Low memory consumption. The system only has 1GB of RAM, and i want as much as I can to run Halo on.
Ability to network at least on a LAN scale.
I really don't care about eye-candy interfaces or large amounts of software. Running this program will be this systems one and only purpose
So what Distro would best fit this?

Welcome to the forums!

Any distro should run WINE as well as another, and 1 GB of RAM is enough to run any distro. You can check the link in my signature for a couple of quizzes that might help you to pick a distribution or two for starting out.
Hope you'll have fun with it.oz
