LAPACK in CentOS
Hello All,
I am brand new to this forum and fairly new to Linux. I did use Unix quite a bit during the 1990s though.
Anyhow, I am using the CentOS distribution, version 5.5. I have some C programs that I am trying to build. These programs require a matrix diagonalization routine contained in a library. The library is called lapack. I was told that most if not all current Linux systems should have lapack built in but I am not sure. Attempts to compile the programs needing lapack resulted in errors.
Question: Does CentOS 5.5 have the lapack libraries built in?
Thanks.
