Delete background picture
Am running Vector, and am more than happy with it, however bit concerned that having downloaded a wallpaper, shows same in list of 'add wallpapers' but cannot get it to desktop, and it appears to be oversized, get view in my folder, so know it downloaded Secondly,cannot find a way of now deleting it, am I not looking in right places, i.e. trash can etc.
Sorry if been posted and answered before, but a lot of threads to go thru.
Any help appreciated.

I'm not sure what desktop environment you are running, but in Gnome it's:
right-click on desktop
change desktop background
"remove" or "add..."
Is that not working?
I personally keep a .wallpaper folder with all my favorites in it in the /home folder for selecting additional wallpapers as desired.oz

- 08-10-2010 #3A lot of distros put them in /usr/share/backgrounds. Try looking in there. You will need to be root to delete any images in that section.looking in right placesLinux Registered User # 475019
