Welcome to the forums! How to create a customized Teminal Only Linux Distro?
Linux From Scratch is generally considered one of the best ways for users to learn to create their own distribution:
Welcome to Linux From Scratch!
Otherwise, you can look at the source code of any existing distro and customize it as needed to suit your own needs.
Best of luck to you with it.oz

are you sure you really want to create your own?
LOL... creating a Linux distribution is a long and tedious process. The "ease" in which you create a Linux distribution of your own will be defined by the level of your talent at programming and scripting. There are a number of mini distros that you could use as a basis for forking and customizing.
