    Desktop on DSL

    Due to a complete failure of my laptop I am currently running DSL on an old PC. I downloaded the free trial of ESET security & it said it was downloading to the desktop but it's not there . I don't want to access my online banking without any security so can someone enlighten me please . I'm a newbie to Linux so step by step please .

    Use a LiveCD -- puppy, wolf, slitaz, for example -- to access your banking site. It's the safest. See this in the Washington Post
